Description

Full moon both nights but the l-enhance filter gave me a fair shot.

Can you see Pac-Man, technically NGC 281? This is a nebula 9200 light years away in Cassiopeia within the Perseus spiral arm of our Galaxy. The bright star top left is Eta Cassiopeia, common name Achird the star is much closer than the nebula at 20 light years. It’s very much like the sun in terms of size and luminosity so if someone out there were looking back at us their view of the sun would be very much like this.  This single image was processed using photos captured over 2 nights (206 3 minute photos in total)
