Description

The Fish Head Nebula (IC 1795) is an emitting nebula located approximately 6,000 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. It covers a field of about 20 arcmins, which corresponds approximately to 70 light years.

I spent more than a week shooting this target with a narrowband setup. The total integration of 37+ hours gives great details and contrasts on both the bright regions of glowing gas and the dark lanes of obscuring dust. The result was processed into SHO Hubble Palette and I added RGB stars which were taken separately.
