Description

Leo I / UGC 5470 - dwarf galaxy in Leo constellation.
Object is located 12 arc minutes from Regulus star, but real distance from Earth is 820 thousand years. Galaxy is a farthest satellite of Milky way. It is discovered in 1950 by Albert George Wilson.
Finally from all night session for farther processing I could used only 6 frames, which gave me 30 minutes of total exposition. This is the first approach to this object. Unfortunately the weather condition in my region was very poor and I couldn't took what I planned, but I will continue this project when it is possible.
