Description

LDN 1235 with vdB 149 and vdB 150 - Cepheus constellation

given that I didn't even think of achieving this result from the lights (I put the clean sum of 6 hours of the GREEN channel to clarify)
I believed it for 17 hours, then I gave in to the October weather.

The large dark nebula LDN 1235 is located in the Constellation Cepheus, its shark-like shape makes it one of the most extraordinary and curious objects in this part of the sky. It is thought that the two reflection nebulae vdB 149 and Vdb 150 are part of the same object, although recent studies on radial velocity indicate that vdB 149 would be in its direction only due to a perspective effect. Dark nebulae are very difficult objects to detect, due both to their low temperature and to their composition responsible for absorbing light. Dark clouds can therefore be observed if they obscure part of an emission nebula, or reflection nebula, as in the case of vdB 149 and vdB 150 or if they block the light of background stars.
