Description

6 areas of interest on the solar disk as of 5-01-2023, imaged from Seacliff, Adelaide.
3176 - Now rotating out of FOV on eastern limb.
3177 - 10 sunspots (flare probabilities: 25% C-class, 1% M-class, 1% X-class).
3180 - 11 sunspots (flare probabilities: 40% C-class, 5% M-class, 1% X-class, 1% proton flare).
3181 – 12 sunspots (flare probabilities: 30% C-class, 5% M-class, 1% X-class).
3182 – 4 sunspots (flare probabilities: 55% C-class, 25% M-class, 5% X-class) < Monitor for aurora.
An area of plague is now appearing or rotating into view on the NW limb of the solar disk.
Skywatcher 8 inch/f5 Newtonian, NEQ6 Pro, ASI1600mm Pro, Baadar AstroSafety White light solar film, Baadar Solar Continuum Filter (540nm; 10nm bandwidth) to enhance solar facula and plague.
