Description

Observed visually the double cluster is an amazing object. This has been true with all the telescopes or binoculars I have viewed it in. However, when taking my first image of the object about two years ago I was a bit disappointed how boring and bland it looked in comparison. I still don't quite have the skills to match the stunning visual impression of this object, but this RGB-Ha combination looks much nicer than my earlier attempts. The Ha really appears to be adding some "wings" to it.

Btw.  there is a little reflection nebula in the upper right of the image. In case you are wondering - like I did -  what this is: apparently this is RNO6 surrounding the emission line star HBC334.
