Description

This took 12 nights, as the nights got shorter and shorter in the UK, and also this particular target disappeared behind a tree quite early into the hours of the morning, so it took a while to get the data. I did want more data, but I also wanted to move onto other targets, and the Triplet was setting earlier and earlier, so I called it a day. This is the first time I have imaged and processed LRGB data, and I don't like it very much. I feel a lot more comfortable with Narrowband, and I am about 7 hrs away from getting all of the data I need for M16, I can't wait! In hindsight, I would have made this less purple/magenta, but I stressed with processing, I found it quite difficult. I got to a stage where I was pretty happy and I'm not going to revisit it, at least for a long while! I must practice with more broadband, I am also imaging M51 in between other targets, as it's nice and high. My exposures were too long, I think I should've gone with 120s, rather than 180s. Also the flattener I'm using is causing issues with the stars

Clear skies!

Title: Version 2

Description: Brighter, less magenta and more detail, I think. More stars too, which don’t look great as I think my subs were too long.
