Description

WR134 is a massive, luminous Wolf-Rayet star surrounded by a faint shell nebula pushed outward by the star's powerful expanding stellar wind.  WR134 is 6000 light-years away in Cygnus.  The faint bubble nebula spans over 100 light-years and primarily emits light in the blue-green wavelength of ionized oxygen.  The surrounding red hydrogen gas is part of the Cygnus OB3 association of massive young stars, a site of ongoing star formation.

Data captured over 5 nights from May 17-22, 2022.
