Description

In my project to amass 10+ hours of data on Matariki (M45/Pleiades) from lat 45S,  I have - so far - managed around 3hours of data in over 5 weeks.  And the weather over the next dark of moon looks equally poor.  Imagine my surprise, therefore, on processing 128 x 300sec sub on the Robooscopes Pier 5 syndicate data labelled "Vulture", out popped the following image.

The Surprise Pleiades.  I am not sure if the submitter intended to take over 10hours of data with the Tak180ED on M45 or the Vulture nebula.  But either way, I think the result on the Pleiades is quite impressive.  Nothing beats a good SNR.

I will still press on with my Matariki project from my less advantageous look out in the south.  I do like the wider field, showing part of the Perseus molecular cloud, but I thought this showed some of the Roboscope data to good effect.
