Description

My first meridian flip.

I usually shoot 120 seconds. These are 300 seconds, so it's more difficult to guide and more likely to have unwanted artifacts. And my guiding had some big problems, and a plane flew in the middle of at least one of the shots. So I kept only a fraction of what I shot.

On the other hand, I seem to have captured a surprising amount of depth.

Processing steps (basically Cuiv's technique):

1. WeightedBatchPreprocessing with "Caibrate Only"

2. SubFrame Selector

3. Star Alignment

4. Local Normalization

5. Image Integration

6. Drizzle Integration

7. Dynamic Crop

8. EZ Deconvoloution

9. EZ Denoise

10. EZ Soft Stretch

11. Pixel Math to combine mono images to RGB

12. Curves Transformation

13. Clone then StarNet++ to remove stars

14. Pixel Math "RGB - Starless" to create a star-only image

15. On Starless, boost color with Color Saturation

16. On Stars-only, reduce color saturation and use Morphological Transformation to reduce star sizes

17. Pixel Math to recombine stars with starless
