Description

Over the past 4-6 weeks the skies have not been very cooperative for me in the Midwest, thus I had limited imaging time. By chance, I was looking at one of Warren Keller's wonderful images. In his description he made reference to his observatory and website. When I went to the site, I quickly realized he was offering free data, which is where I obtained the data for this image:

Deep Sky West

The data was absolutely perfect, much better quality than the what I typically get

With regard to processing, I used the GHS script in Pixinsight to stretch the individual channels. Overall, I think it gives the best result when going from linear to non-linear and I plan to keep using it.

Anyway, I love this target! There is something about the Boogeyman that intrigues me.

Jeff
