Description

We had clear skies skies yesterday so I pointed my telescope and DayStar Quark at the sun to capture surface data and some VERY faint solar prominences.

I wanted to keep good data and a smooth animation intact even when my tracking drifted away too much, which is why there are some hops.

This animation consists of 112 frames (out of 119 originally captured) spanning a 50 minute period and is running at 30fps.

My surface animations can be found in a longer animation on my Instagram Account.
