Description

I caught some fairly still air on 9-16-2021 MDT with seeing varying between 3 and 4.  I had to fight passing clouds and so I kept the videos at 10 s so conditions were less likely to change during each video.  Each usable video, of which there were 77, had about 500 frames with exposures of 20 ms and an fps of about 50.  30 best frames were taken from each video for stacking, which resulted in 2310 images that were de-rotated and then stacked.  My stupid laptop ran out of RAM, so I couldn't get as much video as I wanted.  But the GRS showed nicely in the final image.  I Barlowed my 10 '" Newtonian to f/11.2, giving a focal length of 2844 mm.  I also used an IR/UV blocking filter.
