M81 / NGC 3031 - Bode's Galaxy

It took me a while playing with the colours to get this somewhat right. Even my previous M101 was a challenge.

My PixInsight and laptop screen show the colours very different from what is displayed on my phone and uploaded here. I get everything looking very nice and blue in PixInsight but then it ends up being very purple on my phone and here when I upload. I've tried some colour management to calibrate my laptop monitor but hasn't been successful. Has anyone else experienced this or is experiencing it? If you have and found ways to fix this, please do let me know as it's been very frustrating and tedious.

It took a few nights and several subs being thrown out again due to poor transparency, seeing, and tracking issues, but I managed to put together nearly 9 hours of integration. We've had some clear skies lately but not too good on the transparency and seeing unfortunately.

Description: I decided to try another method for getting more of the natural colour in PixInsight. Instead of forcing the colour with Curves, I used Luminance and Saturation to get more of the natural colour.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status.
