Description

Wiser than yesterday: Today I remembered to adjust the settings and thus this animation consists of 20 sec data acquisition followed by about 30 sec of idle time. Total of 50 frames and thus around 43 minutes in the life of the sun on June 26th 2022. This is a big file, hopefully it'll show up properly. I combined all the different processings in one file so that they can be seen at once making comparing easy.

There is a bit more noise than usual, but I dno't know the source. It may be due warmer than usual weather as the sensor was operating at 49 degC which is about 10 degC higher than usual. Maybe I need to add some passive cooling sinks into the camera and hope for the best. Or use a small PC cooler with a small fan at low rpms.

Settings as usual: Gain 125 in Firecapture, exposure time of 4.8 ms and around 162 FPS. Best 300 images stacked for each animation frame.
