Description

Messier 78 from my trip to dark skies. One of the brightest reflection nebula in the sky. This beautiful nebula is part of the Orion Constellation. Unlike emission nebula that generate most of their own light, this is pretty much all dust that is reflecting the light from bright new stars near it. These type of nebula will not respond well to narrow band imaging filters. This is 7hrs integration with my SVX127D, Atik 460exC camera, and an Optolong L-Pro filter. All 600s subs.
