For the processing of this image, I appreciated a notable evolution of the WinJupos software which takes into account the position of satellites close to the planet. Not only is it a work saver, but I immediately realized the better quality of the rendering, since more images are stacked. The 3D aspect is more noticeable and I only had to refine the color alignment, nothing else!I'm also happy with the result for the image of Jupiter, which shows details, with of course the GRS, but also a nice cloud activity.Good visibility.IR filter 610.9 IR- 8G- 8B de 01 :50 UT à 03 :12 UT.

Pour le traitement de cette image, j’ai apprécié une évolution notable du logiciel WinJupos qui en prend en compte la position des satellites proches de la planète. Non seulement c’est un gain de travail, mais je me suis rendu compte tout de suite de la meilleur qualité du rendu, puisque plus d’images sont empilées. L’aspect 3D est ainsi mieux perceptible et je n’ai eu seulement qu’à affiner l’alignement des couleurs, rien d’autre !Je suis également satisfait du résultat pour l’image de Jupiter, qui montre des détails, avec bien sûr la GTR, mais également une belle activité nuageuse.Bonne visibilité.Filtre IR 610.9 IR- 8V- 8B de 01 :50 TU à 03 :12 TU.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
