Description

I've been having some issues with circular reflections in my new ODK12. And weather has been so horrible this summer, that I've not yet had the opportunity do do some digging into the source of the reflections.
So as an interim measure, I decided to ignore (and crop away) the issue.
Fast forward to today. As is always the case with spells of bad weather: they only clear when it's a full moon. So I decided to use my H-alpha filter.
Imagine my surprise when all of a sudden the reflections were gone! This is nearly the whole FoV, only some stacking edges removed.

Anyway. About this picture: shot with a non-cooled DSLR, on a hot summers night, under a nearly full moon. Combined with some test data of last week, an equally hot summers night. Where hot means Dutch hot, so about 25 degrees Celcius. Even through all the noise, I am so happy with the new scope! Can't wait to put a proper camera on it. Especially now that I know that the reflection-issues are fixable!
