Description

This is a dual focal length project using an 8" Explore Scientific f/3.9 Newt and ZWO 1600 MM-C for M106 itself (approx. 32.5 hours) and a SharpStar f/2.8 150 HNT and a QHY183C for the rest (approx. 23.7 hours). Revision A is the Newt image.

I've been away from astrophotography since I went back to teaching, but my term is about to end. I didn't do any AP at all between mid-November and the end of January, but I started collecting photons again with my Newtonian again around January 30 and now have a few projects to process. Once my teaching gig ends, I'll finally go through my Astrobin feed (it's like 2600 images) and process a couple other things. Happy Easter!

Description: Inspired by Robert Gendler's APOD from Friday, I reworked it slightly and cropped it. I don't think this is going to be my 'final version' though.
