Description

Taken at Dave Erickson's Observatory complex and dark site at Kennedy Meadows, CA
With one night available, concentrated on an RGB target to take advantage of the dark skies.

This area is right next to the well known Embryo Nebula in the Constellation Aries.
vdB 13 and 16 are the bright blue reflection nebulae embedded in the larger region of cosmic dust,
with B204 as the large dust cloud on the left, but several other Barnard designations in the image as well as several LBNs like 740 and 746, to name a few.

RGB processing in PI, SPCC, BlurX, StarX, nebula and stars stretched separately with GHS. Curves, denoise and touch up in image editor.

Thanks for looking
