Description

My goal was to show the outer halos of M57. To make them visible, long exposure times in H-Alpha are necessary. The nucleus, on the other hand, is so bright that it is actually perfect for lucky imaging and very short exposure times. For the bright area, however, I followed the classical approach with somewhat longer exposure times... Accordingly, the image processing was very tricky. I hope you like the result.
