Description

This is my first attempt with a Daystar Combo Quark.  The etalon tuning is off along with a couple of other things I need to tweak, but for me it's okay for a first attempt.  I bought it to use on my 102mm and 125mm refractors and to compare it to my Lunt 60.   According to my solar scintillation monitor, the seeing was averaging around 2.2 to 2.5 arc seconds which I think is about as good as it gets around here.

60 frame animation at 15fps forward and reverse showing 85 minutes of solar activity on July 17, 2022.

Each frame is a stacked 12bit, 10s video of approximately 665 frames with a 1.8ms shutter speed
