Description

Here is comet 22P/ Kopff imaged on September 24, 2022 as it was passing through of interesting field of galaxies in the constellation of Cetus.  The comet is now getting even fainter from last month when I imaged it.  Close to 14th magnitude the brightest galaxies in the field are upper 11th magnitude to 12th.   It appears that dust is still quite evident and the coma has the typical greenish colored gas envolope.
