Annual Visit To The Pac-Man Nebula (NGC 281). My annual visit to the Pac-Man Nebula was almost a huge disappointment, as my first processed stack was marred by an abominable Dark Amp Glow phenomenon on the right hand side of the frame. After some investigation, I recognized that the gain on my dark frames was 110 (my standard), but according to the FITS header for my light subframes, the gain for those frames was 0--I must have forgotten to set the gain when I set up my imaging sequence. On a cloudy night, I took some new darks to match the light frames' gain (or lack of it), and I re-stacked it to reveal my best Pac-Man yet, leaving my
