Description

Imaged over 2 nights while under the influence of Covid
First light with new ZWO 2600mm, would have liked more subs but cloud rolled in on 2nd night cutting the S2 run short.
NGC 2467 is a star-forming region whose appearance has been likened to that of a colourful skull.
It includes areas where large clouds of hydrogen gas incubate new stars.
Apparently there is a skull in there somewhere but I can't see it
The skull's left eye is a super luminous star (HD 64455).
The skull's right eye is a sphere of hydrogen gas energised by a nearby star (Haffner 19).
The orange-red glimmer from ionised hydrogen makes the right eye look very cyborg like.
