Description

The Pinwheel Galaxy was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1781. It is 21 million light years from Earth in the constellation Ursa Major. It is believed to have about one trillion (10^12) stars.

Captured during seven (non-consecutive) nights Feb-March'22.
