Description

This is an RGB composite shot from my balcony in Tōkyo. The Luminance stack ended up less sharp than it would take to make sense using, which seems to be usual for Lunar photography, based on what I've read around.

North is up.

The filtered monochrome frames were shot in SGP, cropped in PIPP, stacked in AutoStakkert!2 and then aligned in Photoshop. I tried aligning R, G and B stacks with each other in other apps (AS!2 and Registax seem to list that in their capabilities), but nothing worked. Photoshop's Auto-align Layers function did the magic. Then I used the RGB Balance wavelet in Registax to find the decent balance of the channels, but I didn't like find the result of Registax processing useful to the image, so I ended up applying the color weights for combination in WinJUPOS.
