Description

M27  This nebula is being produced by a very hot white dwarf star that has been ejecting gas for thousands of years. Hangs out in the constellation Vulpecula, at a distance of about 1360 light-years from our Earth.  This is another reprocessing of summertime data. This time it came out a lot better by stretching it manually with the screen transfer function process. I thought I over exposed it by using 600 sec subs but it turns out I was actually over stretching it the first time. 230 minutes total using skywatcher 8” quattro, asi294MCpro, and EQ6R mount. Antila dual narrow band filter.
