Description

The Horsehead Nebula is in the middle of the Barnard Loop. I wanted a wide field view of the nebula to see the relative  distance between DSOs in the Barnard Loop and their visual sizes compared the Horsehead Nebula. The Barnard Loop is originated in a supernova explosion about 2 million years ago and it has dark cloud nebulae and young stars. This image also includes M78 (The Casper Ghost Nebula) at the lower left which contains a group of nebulae (NGC2064, 2067 and 2071). When I observe M78 with my 8 inch scope (2000mm focal length), I could not see why they call Casper Ghost Nebula. When I observe it with 150-600mm camera lens, it looks like this.
