Description

Comet Nishimura C/2023 P1 is a long period comet discovered in August, 2023 by Nishimura, and became visible to naked eyes in September, at an apparent mag between 4-5, it was bright enough to be visible before dawn, and within several weeks quickly dimmered as it passed its perihelion. @blackrig used the 10" reflector and shot a set of high quality close-up of the comet, which was shared at Comet Nishimura – Erellaz, many thanks to @blackrig  for providing the dataset. As a long period comet and due to weather restrictions, I was never, and will never be able to image this beautiful comet in my whole life...... pretty sad, but also reminds us about the infinity of the universe.
