My deepest sympathy. So sad this is, the more it makes me furious that there are still people who deny the fact of COVID's existence and consider is as harmless cold and refuse wearing a mask and/or continue to make party. Stay healthy! |

Terrible news. I lost my cousin a couple weeks ago. I am a physician and I have stopped watching the TV news here as it is full of misinformation still about COVID. I was vaccinated on Dec 19 and at our hospital (a large one) we have done over 10,000 staff and patients with no problems.... I am so irritated as I listen to the French news (I have dual nationality) and only 40% want the vaccine! They have vaccinated < 1000 people! Constant fear mongering in the French Press. Get yourselves vaccinated! |

Ruben Barbosa: One of AstroBin cardinal philosophy points is that data is preserved. I know that some of you will scoff after the data accident in February, but that didn't change one of the biggest reasons why I created AstroBin. For that reason, when an account stops their paid subscription, nothing happens to the images in the account. Feel free to quote me on this: I'm not going to do like Flickr, which deletes images when you stop paying. I am already unhappy about the fact that users can delete images from AstroBin. It's your images so obviously, you should do as you wish with them. I think at some point I might offer the option to send images to a pool of anonymized images, instead of deleting them. Sorry for straying off-topic. |

Hearfelt sympathy and deep condolences. It does pain so much. Another valuable life has been taken by reckless egoism and profit greed. If governments and people continue dealing with Covid-19 as they did in 2020 then the current figures are merely the tip of a surfacing iceberg. It is up to us. |
