Hi, my name is Rishi and I live in the Netherlands. I am located in the area we refer to as "The Randstad" which is a conglomerate of all the cities in central Netherlands very close to Schiphol airport. Fortunately I live outside a village in farmland so not too much direct licht but a lot of background light from the huge greenhouses, airport and cities. Started off with a Star Adventurer and my wifes EOS 6D and assorted lenses then Skywatcher 8" Dobson then Williams Optics ZS61 then HEQ 5 Pro then ........(I think you all know how this continues) Still using a DSLR (6D and 450D non modified) Contemplating going mono. Now waiting for clear sky's. The only clear night we have had here recently was during the lunar eclipse. |

Thanks all. Still haven't been able to use the Williams Optics in anger. It does really need the Flat61 to give a decent image across the whole image. Its really nicely built with a nice focuser and a great size. Really the ultimate grab and go. |

Hi Rishi ,and welcome, I'm from Netherlands too, from Dordrecht area,so light pollution is huge, but it's OK for EAA. Is there any Dutch forum or stargazing parties in Netherlands? Clear sky.. |
