Hi everyone
recently I had half an idea to move my setup from the observatory I have in Italy, to Nerpio at the astrocamp. The problem is not the "long" journey but I would simply like to be sure I am doing the right thing.
the problem in italy is the bad seeing ,where I am has an average of around 3", the best so far has recorded 1.6" but the problem is that there are evenings with seeing seeing higher than 5. Can anyone give me some current information about Astrocamp? Is it worth moving?

Hi Riccardo,I have one of my setups in Nerpio, where the sky quality is truly exceptional, with seeing conditions ranging from 0.5 to 1 arc-second. The location is also extremely dark, with the only light coming from the small village Nerpio.
The observatory is located at 1650m so this can grant the mentioned seeing. I visited and installed my rig in January 24 and, from my perspective, it is definitely worth it.
You can reach out Fernando at Astro Camp, and he will provide you with an offer.
I believe there are spaces available for piers in the new roll-off observatory...

Hi Ricardo,
You can visit my page on Astrobin. I've uploaded some photos taken at the AstroCamp in Nerpio, with a small apochromatic (80mm), a C11 and more recently a 400mm RC.
Clear sky,
