Hello everyone ! Last week I shot the heart and soul nebula for two nights in a row using my canon R6 stock and the Canon RF 100 F2.8 macro lense to test its sharpness wide open. I used the drizzle option on the star adventurer to get a better resolution and reduce the noise. I never shot this target before, and as it's Ha only, I was prepared to be very disapointed because of the strong filter of my DSLR. But in the end, I kinda managed to get some signal, even though I could not see any nebulosity at all on a single sub ... What do you think of it ? I clipped the sky black on purpose so that it is more homegeneous for a print, and to hide the noise. Here's the photo : Heart and Soul nebulae Thank for your honest feedbacks ! |

Not bad, not bad at all. Maybe the stars look a bit too soft but otherwise I'm impressed by the performance of the gear. |
