Just as title says, wondering if there's any filters that will help bring detail out. I will be trying a mosaic tonight.  I have a red, a uv cut, uv pass, green, blue. Thanks! |

| The red filter is your best bet since redder light is less affected by the atmosphere. |

| I know am a little late to the party, but if you plan on imaging you can always try a typical 13% reduction Moon filter. Imaging without the filter does allow shorter exposure times since it is brighter, but if your camera is older and you don't have as many options for ISO or shutter settings then darkening the light coming in often helps, even if slightly longer exposures are required. Plus it helps spread the histogram out |
