Dear RST-135(E) users, could you please provide me with your experiences of this mount when exposed to temperatures below 0 degrees centigrade and with humid conditions like dew building up over night. I rarely have conditions below -10 degrees centigrade and I'm not sure whether I would go imaging when it happens, since I have to stay next to my equipment over night. Unfortunately I couldn't find any temperature range specs for this mount. Dew happens regularly in autumn at my site. I assume the RST-135(E) has no issues with it but would be pleased if you can confirm. Thank you and clear skies Wolfgang |

This will not directly answer your question but others may have an interest. I have the RST-135, no encoders. I use mine in very hot and dry conditions. The opposite of your conditions. I can say that it performs very well at temperatures nearing 40c. And very pleased with the mount generally. |
