This is the very well known zone of Carina, the image is part of an ongoing idea of several images in the area. Interestingly, it seems that the sky has a dark bluish tone. I did some image processing in the past, of the very same region, but using data from a larger scope (using a remote system and SHO filters as well as RGB)

https://www.astrobin.com/xnp5e0/B/?nc=&nce=Of course in the case for SHO I did exaggerate, a lot, the intensity of the blue, on purpose (I was training the processing of NB, waiting for my own set of filters) but this is not the case for RGB, which also gives the dark blue background without pushing it.
Anyway, it is more than a year that I have been waiting to complete the systems that will allow me to do my own backyard SHO+LRGB images, hopefully within a month I shall be able to start with that. So far, OSC is what I can show, hopefully it s also nice.
