I'm working on another project where I will need to combine RGB data captured with my Nikon D5300/F4 300mm with mono data from ASI2600mm and Raptor. At this time I do not have RGB filters.

While waiting for my target to rise I shot M31, mono camera on the EQ6R-Pro and Nikon on AVX unguided. The Nikon is Ha modded and gave the core a purple hue. It took some work to tone it down and I wasn't very happy with it. I think the test is a success though, for my project I only need RGB for the stars so I should be ok. I had the nikon at F4 and the stars away from center were not very round, I'll use F5.6 in the future. The L data from the 2600 masked out the star shapes but the CA still came through.

I started capturing Ha data for my project (IC 410 widefield) but only got 2 hours worth before clouds rolled in, have not had a clear night when not working since.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
