Description

Hu1-1 (Humason 1-1) in Cassiopeia is visual 12.4 magnitude and only about 9 arc seconds across. Its quite bright and mostly blue-green but for a lovely red fringe, so would make a good visual target. Probably accessibly visually with a 6" and definitely a 10" as a little greenish disk. If has the same color scheme and shape as the Ring Nebula, only much smaller. The disk is so bright that it makes detection of the progenitor star quite difficult.

Total exposure is 3 x 3 min = 9 min, with each 3 minute exposure composed of 180 live-stacked 1 second subs.
