Description

My first larger project, a 6 panel mosaic of the Cygnus region around the Crescent Nebula stretching over to the Tulip Nebula. A fascinating area. My favorite object is WR134 with its faint bubble nebula blown by the intense radiation and fast wind from the Wolf-Rayet star.
This was planed as a mid summer project but with my camera's temperature sensor failing, I almost thought it would have to wait until next year.
The camera was away in service for over a month, and with every week passing, Cygnus moved a bit further out of reach.
This is the very first processing run on this mosaic and I am sure there will be several revisions to come. The individual panels were processed and assembled in APP and post-processing is/will be done in PixInsight. By no means is this iteration to my fullest liking. It is nice but the processing can be improved. On the other hand, my little Sky-Watcher's EvoGuide 50ED is performing at its best.

Subs taken in July between the 4th to the 9th, September 27th, 29th and October 4th, 5th and finalized on the 16th.
Each panel has between 70 to 100 subs with a 15% exclusion during stacking.
