Description

I imaged the Jellyfish Nebula during the last 2 nights besides another target and decided to take a break tonight and process it. One of the reasons is that I have started to see the same problem I had with the larger OTA on this mount. Trails when the mount points below a certain angle. With this widefield scope it is more difficult to see it, but nevertheless it impacts the star quality. Unfortunately.

The Jellyfish Nebula is a supernova remnant in the constellation Gemini. The approximate distance to Earth is 5000 LY. Stéphane Javelle, a French astronomer working besides Henri Perrotin at the Nice Observatory apparently discovered IC 443 besides 1431 other objects published in the INDEX CATALOG.
