The Sculptor Galaxy (NGC 253) is a large spiral galaxy located approximately 10 million light-years away in the constellation Sculptor. This galaxy is undergoing significant star formation that it earned the classification of a starburst galaxy. There is also evidence of at least one black hole at the center of the Sculptor Galaxy due to the high presence of x-rays and gamma rays emanating from the galactic core. Captured with a PlaneWave CDK600 at ObsTech using Voyager automation software. Total 29.8 hours exposure via Luminance 215x5min, Red 48x5min, Green 47x5min, and Blue 48x5min.
