Description

I decided to image this really just to test out my new Antlia ALP-T highspeed filter, and wow-  I am amazed by the results.  My house is in a white zone about 30 minutes from NYC surrounded by LED lighting.  Transparency was average to below average, and it was two days after the (super) full moon.  The Antlia filter appears to be a real game-changer.  Previously I had tried an NBZ filter from my skies and the results led me to think OSC was just not possible from here.  I'm very happy to be proven wrong.  The optics and the high quality of the IMX571 sensor help as well.  I'll definitely be using this setup for the rest of the summer.

While I would normally like to add more to this data to get more out of the image, I decided to post this now to show how well the ALP-T can perform even under very bad skies.  Also, it's not going to be clear here again for a while so I have no idea when I'll get to put more into this target.
