Description

A few nights back I started out with the intention of imaging IC434 the hoarse head, lets just say it didn't go to plan. So, I thought I'd try imaging on SharpCap as ive never really tried it.
The Moon was glaring down on me and thought id try a colour version I'd seen on youtube.

However, I didn't really know the best settings for SharpCap as i only every used it for polar alignment.  If I should have live stacked or just started a capture sequence? Apparently what i should have done  was was video as avi. I did use PIPP and Registax photoshop to edit. At this point I realised the L enhance filter was still in the camera!! :/ dohh!!

Anyways, after stacking and processing, every image would pixelate when zoomed in, like  you could almost see the bayer matrix of the camera? after several attempts and not happy with the end result I just snipped one of the processed images and took it as final.

The image is heavily processed and not a true colour in my opinion. Now that I've  done it I can see myself getting into planetary imaging.

Further down the rabbit hole!!
