The black-matter-rich Coddington's Nebula - IC2574 - RGB + Ha

I tried to do my best, while processing, in protecting the delicate outer nebulosity of this singular Galaxy.
At first glance its spiral structure is not obvious: it looks more like an irregular dwarf. If you then look at it more carefully and turn your head clockwise a little, the galactic arms reveal themselves better.
It is interesting to point out that the Oiii signal coming from the star formation areas is particularly strong. I have discarded it anyway, as I was interested to Ha only.

IC2574
Also known as Coddington's Nebula, it is a dwarf spiral galaxy 12.8 Mly away. Located in Ursa Major, it is an outlying member of the M81 Group.
It is believed that 90% of its mass is in the form of dark matter. IC 2574 does not show evidence of interaction with other galaxies.
It is rich of star forming areas, that are particularly evident and made evident by the red Ha areas.
It was discovered by Edwin Foster Coddington in 1898.

Background Galaxies
Of all the numerous background galaxies, the only one for which I have found the recession velocity is PGC30472, which is located at the remarkable Hubble distance of 533 Mly.
