Description

About 9h of LRGB data. This is one of my favorite targets. It fits well in my field of view, is well-balanced artistically, and has many physical complexities.
NGC-7331 has some interesting asymmetrical features and HCG 92 or Arp 319 has extraordinary tidal tails and features of billions of years of violent interaction. It's also interesting that some of the galaxies aren't really grouped in space as we see them. And, lastly, I like the detail that I can find in some of the more distant galaxies even at this scale, e.g. NGC-7343.
My last image of this target is two years old. My mount has changed, but the optical train is the same. This image benefits slightly from about 4 more hours of luminance and from Russell Croman's NoiseXterminator.
