Description

NGC 6820 is an emission nebula around an open star cluster (NGC 6823) in the constellation Vulpecula. This was a challenging object for me because of its location in the sky puts it in the direction of some light pollution. In addition, I was shooting it during a very bright, nearly full moon (AKA a bad idea). This nebula is located about 6000 light years away and is approx 50 light years across. This image was made from 11 hours of data captured with Orion ED 80 T and ZWO 183 MC pro camera.
