Description

Aristoteles (87 Km) and Eudoxus (67 Km) , to the north and south respectively.Aristoteles has a depth of 3.3 Km and is unusual in that its " central peaks " are quite off centered. The crater appears to have been partly filled.It has terraced walls.A completely lava flooded crater named Egede( 37 Km) lies to the west of Aristoteles.Eudoxus is a smaller crater but as prominent as Aristoteles and slightly deeper at 3.4 Km and has a central cluster of small hills.Lacus Mortis lies to the east of the pair and features crater Burg (41 Km) and 2.2 Km deep , Rimae Burg and various wrinkle ridges.
