Description

The time-lapse animation is created from 360 recordings between 05:44 and 07:17UT on June 4th 2023. Each recording was 12 seconds long with a framerate of 100 (1200 frames) and 3 seconds delay between each recording.

The recordings where obtained using a using a TS-Optics 102mm f/11 ED, Baader Cool-Ceramic Safety Herschel Prism Photographic 2", Baader ND OD 0.9, Altair G-Band Solar Contrast Filter (430.3nm) 2nm 1.25", Baader Q-Barlow 2.25x / 1.3x and Player One Mars-M camera mounted on a ZWO AM5 and guided with Hinode SolarGuider.

The 200 frames from each recording was stacked in AutoStakkert!3 before they were aligned, sharpened and contrast stretched in ImPPG.

The animation was created in PIPP at 15fps effectively compressing the 1 hours 33 minutes of duration down to just 1 minute 24 seconds.
