Description

Earlier this year, I was complaining to my wife about the bright moon being right by one of my DSO targets. She had the brilliant suggestion, "Why don't you take pictures of the Moon?" So I eventually got around to taking her advice. This was taken with my totally inappropriate ASI1600MM Pro and the ASIAir Plus in Video Mode, with 1 minute of video at 1080P with Gain 0 and a frame exposure time of 7 milliseconds per each channel, L, R, G, and B. Each channel was stacked in AutoStakkert! and the channels were aligned in PixInsight using the FFT Registration script. All subsequent processing was done in PixInsight.
